How to perform Scale transformations in Grasshopper
- In this video, we'll take a look at the scale component in grasshopper. We can find scale under the transform component tab in the fin subset then we'll be using this variation on scale. It's just called scale, which scales an object uniformly in all directions. If you'd like to use a non-uniform scale there's also a scale MU, so in my exercise file I've got a few different groups of components here, so far we're using some number sliders to make a box that just gives us some reference geometry. We're using a move component to make a duplicate that we will be able to see the beginning and the end stage of our scale. I've already got a scale component here and scale takes as its inputs, a base geometry which is the object will scale a center of scaling which defaults to the world origin had zero zero, zero and then a scale factor which is how much we are increasing or decreasing the size of the object…
