How to set component input data from Rhino geometry in Grasshopper

- [Tutor] In this video, we'll take a look at how to set component input data from Rhino geometry in Grasshopper. I've got the file setting from Rhino.gh, opening Grasshopper. Here I've got most of the definitions set up. You can see I've got this curve parameter, which holds information about a curve. I'm feeding that into this area component, which calculates the area of a closed planar curve and then a panel component, which will display any data that's coming out of that area components, area output. Right now, all these components are giving me warnings because I'm not feeding any data through them. So that curve parameter holds no curve data. That means the area component can't calculate area. And in turn the panel can't display anything. So to feed in some curve data, let's go over to Rhino and draw out a curve.
