How to speed up your workflow with canvas shortcuts in Grasshopper

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll cover two quick tips for working in a Grasshopper definition that I like to use quite frequently. These are for adding space and duplicating components. Oftentimes in Grasshopper, you'll have a definition and you'll find that you need to insert some components in between what you've already set up. For example, maybe we want to insert something right about here. There's not a lot of room and I'd like to space that out a little bit. Now, of course I could zoom out. I could select all these components, click and drag them over, but luckily there is a nice shortcut and that is holding down the Alt key and then clicking and dragging with the left mouse button. And this allows us to insert some space in the canvas and you can see, I'll just zoom out a little bit here, we can just slide all those other components past that point to the right or to the left.
