How to use Grasshopper's canvas

- [Instructor] The main area for working in Grasshopper is called the canvas. And here, you'll be connecting components together to build your algorithms. At the top of the canvas, you'll see the canvas toolbar. That's this horizontal line of icons here. You can use this set on the left to do things like load or save a file, adjust the zoom level, or jump to different points in your definition. On the right, you have a set of icons for adjusting the way that your Grasshopper geometry is previewed in Rhino. I've got an exercise file open here called demo with slider. Let's talk about what's going on here in the canvas. In the main part, the components are linked together to create an algorithm, which in turn generates some sort of output. Often, this is geometry in Rhino. Other times it's information like text. Just like in Rhino, when you're working in the canvas, you can zoom in and out with the middle mouse wheel. Or you…
