How to use Rotate components in Grasshopper
- [Instructor] In this video, we'll take a look at one of the rotate transformation components in Grasshopper which we can find under the transform component tab in the Euclidean sub tab. Now just down at the bottom there are four different variations on rotation. We're going to look at rotate axis in this video. The other ones work very similarly. In my example file, I've got a few different groups of components here. We're going to start off very simply, just taking the box that we're generating with a set of numbers sliders and rotating it around the default axis. So I've already brought in a rotate axis component which takes as it's inputs, the geometry to rotate, an angle of rotation in radians, by default it's 0.5 times pi, and then a rotation axis. So that's the line that we're rotating around. And by default, that is the X-axis. I can see as I'm highlighting the rotate axis component, there's this little…
