How to use component tabs in Grasshopper

- [Instructor] Components are the building blocks of Grasshopper. Everything that you build in Grasshopper is an assembly of components. We'll get more in-depth and very detailed on specific components in other videos. But for now, just know that there are tons of components in Grasshopper, and they're organized under these different tabs, which you can see below the menu bar. Each tab is labeled for the types of components it contains, and the tabs are then further divided into subpanels. For example, with this Curve tab, we have Analysis, Division, Primitive, Spline, and so on. At the top of each subpanel, you'll see a few icons for the most recently used components in that panel and then a dropdown that shows you the complete list of every component in that panel.
