- [Instructor] Much like other generative design tools, the Kangaroo physics solver asks you, the designer, to define goals for your model. What do you want the model to do? How should Kangaroo optimize the locations of points and other geometry? In this video, we will build a simple model that shows how you specify goals and will help us visualize how Kangaroo converts goals into force vectors that recalculate point locations in each iteration cycle. I had the exercise file open already. In this script, I've set up a few things to start us off. On the input end, I have a scalene triangle as our starting geometry. I have a set of components that allows us to step through the Kangaroo simulation one iteration cycle at a time by clicking on the button. On the output end, I'm taking the solved edges. The output from Kangaroo. I'm recording the values and then I'm previewing, showing the force vectors at each timestamp. This will allow us to see Kangaroo working. So what are we doing?…
