- [Narrator] I have my exercise file open already. We're going to look at a really common scenario. You're building a script, and it's using curve offsetting. And as inputs, you're letting different users input different curves or surfaces that are then being used to extract curves. What this means is that you don't have control over the exact parameterization and direction of the curve that you're inputting. And this creates problems when you're creating offsets. So, if we go to curve offset, we're going to start with this first set of curves. These three inverted curves that are stacked up that kind of create this conduct shape. I'm going to plug these in, and I can see right away that they're offsetting to different directions. The bottom curve is offsetting to the right, or the inside. And the top two curves are offsetting to the left, or the outside. So we need to offset these curves consistently to one direction…
