- [Instructor] Welcome. In this video I want to talk about planes, how they're created, how we can define them explicitly, and also how we can poorly define them and the differences between the ways we create them. So first off I'm going to create a point in Rhino, and I've already talked about how points and vectors are really the same thing. So I'll go to params, point. I'm going to set one point. So we'll import that point. And now I'm going to create a plane. So I'll go to vector, plane. So I'm using the construct plane component. I'm going to set the x-axis of this plane to that point. So now that plane will rotate in order to keep its x-axis based on a vector through the point that I created inside of Rhino. So if I decompose this plane I want to show the two fundamental ways that you can create a plane.
