Understanding offset directionality

- [Instructor] I have Rhino grasshopper open already. When migrating modeling workflows from direct modeling to grasshopper scripting, it could be challenging to replace the visual interactions incorporated into commands. So for example I'm going to create two curves. One straight, one curvy. If I offset these within Rhino, I get a visual display of which side I'm offsetting too. Then I can control by moving my mouse which side my offset will ultimately go on. So, I'm going to offset these two, to the right. I'm going to change the layer on the two offset curves just so we can see the difference. So that's easy enough but if I do the same thing in Grasshopper, I don't have that visual indication on each individual curve. Showing me which side I'm offsetting to. And I don't have the ability to use my mouse to control which side it offsets to for each individual curve. So let's duplicate that. So I'm going to set…
