- [Instructor] Welcome. I have my exercise file open all ready. In this video, I want to give a little introduction to vectors, and just talk about their properties. Often I see in scripts that people are using complex geometry to do stuff that could be created much more simply if they had a better understanding of how vectors work. So I have three sliders here. First thing I wanted to talk about is the fact that vectors and points are exactly the same. So if I create a point from these three sliders, I change the inputs, the point moves around, I can also create a vector. So if I go vector I have basically the same component here. I'll input these three sliders here. I don't see anything because vectors, by default, don't display, but what's funny is if I connect a panel to each of these, they're exactly the same.
