What's new in Grasshopper for Rhino 6/7?

- [Instructor] In this video, we'll talk about what's new in Grasshopper for Rhinos version six and seven. At the time of this recording, the most current version of Grasshopper is build 1.0.0007. If you're already a Grasshopper user, you'll be pleased to know that you'll feel right at home in the latest version in Rhino six and seven. Pretty much everything is going to look and operate the same way with a few improvements. Namely, Grasshopper now comes as a single install along with Rhino and also includes Kangaroo, the interactive dynamic physics engine. Latest version of Grasshopper also offers support for high-DPI displays. It's compatible with existing components and now offer some multithreaded components, which basically means that certain components can solve much faster using parallel computing. We've also got a built-in Python scripting component called GhPython, as well as Grasshopper's own GHA compiler and these offer major node to node speedups. Last but not least, Grasshopper is now a stable development target for custom components. So that's an overview of what's new in the latest version of Grasshopper.
