How to check for camera updates
- You might not realize it but GoPro cameras actually have small computers inside of them. And like most computers, they may need to be updated from time to time. When does it need to be updated? Well, typically if a new accessory comes out, well that's a point of change. Or maybe something comes out with the software. Or they just fix a bug. There's lots of different reasons. Just like your iPhone or your Android phone gets updates from time to time So does the GoPro. And it might require an update to the camera. It might require an update to the app. And typically it's very important that you keep the camera's firmware up to date. Now there's a couple different ways to do this. The easiest two methods are to use one of the apps on your phone. Or an app on your computer. It's pretty straight forward so when new features come out, all the time.
