Looping video when recording
- [Instructor] The looping video option can be quite useful if you don't have the ability to constantly control your camera. For example, you could set up to record a loop of a certain duration. Say, five minutes. And then, when you get to the end of those five minutes, it's going to actually start to buffer. Now what happens is, is that the new frames are kept, and anything older than the five minute mark is thrown away. Essentially, this is a rolling caravan of recording. And what happens is when you press the shutter button to stop, it's going to save the last amount of video; in this case, the five minute loop. This can be quite useful if you're in shooting situations like sports. If you rode a lift chair up to the top of the mountain, and then you rode back down, what's going to happen is you might want to adjust the time for the buffer. Now, the camera has several options here. By default, it's going to be set to five minutes, and when you press that stop button, the shutter…
