- [Instructor] To animate and pose our character from one layer as opposed to always having to work with one layer at a time. We'll add our character to a peg. So, the first thing I'm gonna do, is take a look at each of our layers here and I'm working with 08_pegs, and so each of our deformations, each part of the body is in a group and then we also have the sword on its own layer. So, what I wanna do now is add a peg and then have that peg parent or control all the other layers. So, I'll simply go up to add a layer and select Peg. The next thing I want to do is I'll select all of my other layers. I'm gonna simply hold down my shift key and I'll drag these directly on top of the peg until I see that little thin line. So, now I can collapse the peg and we only see the peg, and I'll go ahead and change the name of the peg. So, let's give it the character name, Nikki, then underscore, capital P, and that lets me know that that is definitely a peg. Now, I do want to change my pivot point.…
