Adding numbers technique

- Sometimes SAT math problems can be made a lot more concrete and easier to solve if numbers are added to them, even if they don't have variables in the choices. In this video I'll walk you through an example of my adding numbers technique. So let's take a look at this problem here. So Circle A has a diameter that is six times the diameter of circle B. What is the ratio of the area of circle A to the area of circle B? Alright, so not very concrete. All we really know about these circles is that one of them has a diameter that's six times the diameter of the other one, but we can make this a little bit more concrete if we pretend, or make up numbers for the diameters of the circles. So I'm gonna draw a couple of circles here. And I'll label them circle A and circle B. Okay, so now let's pretend we know the diameters, so I'll draw the diameters of the two circles and I will say that circle A has a diameter of 12 and circle B has a diameter of 2.
