- [Voiceover] Some text completion questions are made more difficult by the length, and/or the complexity of their sentences. This video, I'll show you a way to make confusing or complex sentences easier to understand. So the length of certain sentences can fill up your short-term memory, to the point that by the end of the sentence, you've dropped some of your understanding. You can avoid this problem by only working with part of a long sentence at a time. So here we've got a pretty chunky, clunky sentence, and if you read this thing, and you're not 100% sure about what's going on, you're not alone. So rather than read it six times to try to understand it, what you might try is, after you read it the first time, go back and then start, try to pull out things that you can understand.
