- [Voiceover] So GRE math is known by the fancy term quantitative reasoning. The key word here is reasoning. The math problems that the GRE writes often require a little bit of thinking to figure out how best to solve them. So before you worry too much about this reasoning aspect it's important to make sure your math concept knowledge is solid. So in this video I'll offer my recommendations to improve that knowledge. So in a previous video I recommended the ETS GRE books. Even if you don't get those you can still use the math review and math conventions that ETS provides on its website. It's the same math review as the one in its books. Now if you have to take the GRE in the next month or two, I would recommend CliffNotes Math Review for Standardized Tests. Please note it's not CliffNotes Math for the GRE. It's CliffNotes Math Review for Standardized Tests.
