So, a lot of my students over the years have found that the Issue Essay is more difficult for them to write than the Argument Essay, because they have to create their own thesis and think of ways to support it, all in a short amount of time. So in this video I'll talk more about how to come up with a plan to write your Issue Essay. So here again is the sample Issue prompt that I showed you in the previous video. Again, I'll just read the Issue itself. The employees at all levels of a corporation should be involved in that corporation's short- and long-term goal planning. OK. So let's think about some options here. On one extreme, you could completely agree with the statement and say that employees should always be involved. On the other hand, you could say that normal employees should never be involved, and that decisions should only be made by the CEO or board of directors.
