- [Voiceover] Another skill I want you to have for coordinate geometry is how to find the intercepts of a line. So, if you have a line already in this format, like Y equals 2x plus four, that's slope intercept form. We can just look at it and see the slope, and look at it and see the y-intercept. So, the y-intercept of this particular line would be four. But, what if you don't have something in that form? Let's say, I had 2x minus 3y equals five. Well, how do I find the intercepts of that line? I could put it in this format, and then, I'd at least see that the y-intercept, but I still wouldn't know the X. Well, a really easy thing you can do if you wanna find an intercept, you put in zero for the opposite point. So, I'll show you what I mean. What if I wanted to find for this line down here, if I wanted to find the y-intercept. Well, I would put in zero for X, because let me remind you for this one, the y-intercept four is where X is zero. If you look at that point, X is zero at this…
