- [Voiceover] The first thing I want to talk about in terms of data analysis is frequency. So, we have a couple of charts on the screen here and let's pretend that there was a neighborhood with 50 households in it and we surveyed them and we asked them how many pets there were in the household. So, you see this chart on the left, the frequency distributions. There are 18 households that had zero pets, fifteen that had one, seven that had two, and so on. This is just a way to say how often did the number of pets, being zero occur. Well, it occurred 18 times in this survey. How many times did having three pets occur? It occurred six times. So, just a way to understand how often something occurred. Then from there, we can talk about the relative frequency. If you think about it, it's just kind of like a percentage of the whole. So, in terms of the 50 surveys, there were 18 out of 50 that said they had zero pets. If we put that in our calculator, we're going to get 36%. Notice also, that…
