- [Voiceover] One of the easiest ways to make learning more accessible, is to make some simple changes in the learning environment by considering and adjusting the set up. Let's take a look at some examples. First, allow students with vision or hearing impairments to sit closer to the presenter. Make sure that there is proper lighting and acoustics in your classroom. You can reduce the noise levels by providing headphones for students when they're listening to videos online. Another consideration is to allow students to take assessments, or use work time in a different area that's quiet and distraction free. Maybe a student with a vision impairment needs assessment questions read to them, likely in another location. Although most of these accommodations are inexpensive, and easy to implement, they're often overlooked. The same is true with timing. Consider the timing or scheduling of activities in your class.
