- [Voiceover] Some logic questions will ask you which choice weakens the passage's argument or assertion, you also might see phrasing like undermines. So in this video I'll adapt our strengthen an argument technique to work on weaken an argument questions. So here we have an argument, so go ahead and read it if you haven't already. So let's use our normal technique and paraphrase it. So I would probably paraphrase this as more arrests in 2012, therefore the campaign worked, 'cause the campaign in 2012 was to report vandalism. Okay, so now that we have a paraphrase let's take a look at the answer choices. So obviously this is a weakening the argument kind of question. So what about choice A? In order to process a vandalism report, police must receive a report of the vandalism from two unrelated people. Well, that's kind of a logical thing, but I don't know if that has any connection with the campaign working or not, so makes sense, but doesn't affect the argument. What about B? Some of…
