- [Voiceover] Certain Reading Comprehension questions look a lot like Vocabulary questions. They're testing your ability to identify the best match for the meaning of a word in context, so in this video, I'll talk about a specific strategy for this question type. So Word-in-Context questions are pretty easy to spot. They'll have phrasing like, in the context in which it appears, the word or the phrase most nearly means what? So I'll show you an example of this here. If we have a passage, or part of a passage in this case, look at the question. In the context in which it appears, "innate" most nearly means what? So let's take a look here. If we look at the sentence with innate in it, we get an idea that Tom Bombadil is long thought to represent nature, or the innate power of the earth. And if we think about what innate means in this context, it probably has something to do with something natural. So if we look at the choices, we see that choice A, inherent, is a pretty good match…
