Behind the scenes 1: Shooting location A

- Now that we've planned out the production, it's time to shoot this video. If we look at the production schedule, you can see that we're starting at location A, the counter. At this location, we've got the iPhone 7 Plus situated on a standard tripod, about 12 feet away from Pamela at the counter at eye level. The iPhone 7 is situated on the small tabletop tripod just out of the main shot, so it can capture the food prep area. We've performed some basic lighting and production design adjustments in the kitchen space, so that it looks exactly as she likes it. She wanted a nice, bright, clean look with splashes of color. So, to light the scene, we mostly relied on the natural daylight coming in from the kitchen window to the right of Pamela. We had to experiment quite a bit with how far down to pull the shades and how much to draw the blinds. We also used daylight bulbs in the overhead kitchen light.
