Adjusting light parameters
- So, we're gonna take a look at how to adjust the parameters of lights in Houdini with a simple setup here from before where I've just added a distant and a point light. In our network view I'm gonna hit the "P" key to open up the light parameters. Over here on the left side, I'm gonna hit our + icon, open up a Render View window. I'm just gonna hit Render. I'm gonna hit shift h to home that view, so that's the full view we've got out of our camera. So, we have our distant light is enabled. Our point light currently, you see, is not enabled. This is a really great thing. We can easily turn the lights on and off like this. Let's say we wanted to have this light color, this distant light not just to be white, but be something else. What I'll do is I'll click on this color swatch, and let me just adjust that. Let me make it a reddish-pink light. Now let's go extreme. Since this is kind of like a big overall god-like sun distant light, it'll just change basically the color of everything…
