- [Instructor] Now we're going to take a look at Mantra, which is Houdini's built in renderer. So I'm going to go to my menu up here, at my top of my network view, and we're going to switch the output context. And as you can see we have a mantra ipr node that is already laid down for us. And this is there because in our previous video, we had done an ipr render and this mantra ipr gets created automatically. So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to create a new one. This is one of the things I really love about the renderer context in Houdini, is that in some applications, we can have different presets for different render set ups, but in Houdini, we could just have any number of nodes with all these different settings all living here that we can switch between, and often we want to set up different nodes for different passes or different quality settings for all this stuff, we can have all this live in the scene and not just have to be different presets.
