- [Instructor] An extremely powerful feature of Houdini is our ability to create animation channels procedurally, and then link them to different parameters to be able to create animation from procedural networks, and I'm going to show you the initial fundamental stages of doing this. We're going to go into our model object, and this is where we had hand-animated these rings that were then copied out, and I'm going to make a new context, so I'm going to hit Tab, C-H-O-P, and make a CHOP Network. And CHOPs are channel operators, and this is where we build our networks of procedural animation channels, and I have a certain nomenclature I use. Since we're going to make rotation channels, I'm going to prefix this with rot and then capital CHOP. That's just the way I do it. I'm going to hit C and I'm going to make this green because that's how I like it. Okay, so now I'm going to go inside this rotCHOP, and you can see now it says Motion FX up here, and then we have a tab up here that says…
