- [Instructor] Creating arrays of objects is something Houdini excels at and this ranges from very simple arrays of objects to extremely complicated large arrays and I'm going to show you the base building blocks of how we start to create with these objects in Houdini. So I'm going to go into our model object here and you see that we have, I'm going to hit escape and I'm going to frame this up. We have our simple little cross that I've made smaller for this example. So under our normal1 in our network view I'm going to write click and type copy. We have a few different options now in Houdini 16 and I just want to choose copy stamp which gets us our traditional copy SOP node. Little mouse click, we see Copy Stamp SOP. Okay, so now I'm going to turn its display flag on. Nothing is different, but if I change number of copies to two, and then let's move them over so it's changed the translate to three, now we have two copies of that object and they're offset three units.
