Creating leaf growth points
- [Voiceover] Now that we have our colored wires cached out, now we're gonna start to get to the place where we can use this data to drive these points to grow our objects. First thing we're gonna do is, now that we have our color embedded we don't need the geometry anymore, we just need points. So I'm gonna type in an Add to get rid of the geometry. So I'll just do Delete geometry but keep the points. Okay, now I've just got our points. Now I'm gonna sort these randomly, because I wanna actually Delete a lot of these 'cause we don't actually want objects to grow really consistently along these things. We want it to be more inconsistent, a little bit more natural for this example. So I'm gonna do a sort to randomly sort them. And then I'm gonna lay down a Delete SOP and I'm wanna Delete like three quarters of them, right? So I'm gonna do Delete points, I'm gonna Delete by range, I'll do one of four but I'll Delete non-selected. Right, so I've just changed a few things here and now…
