Fracturing geometry with VDB tools

- [Voiceover] So here we have a piece of geometry, and we're gonna destroy it. So the first thing we're gonna do is, we're gonna create the fractured geometry that we'll send on to be simulated. So, you can see we have these light yellow geometry objects here, there's CUTTER, OBJECT and COLLISION. We're gonna use them all in different ways, and we're gonna make a new geometry object that we're basically gonna build this whole thing in. Call that FRACTURE_01. I'm gonna use my color scheme here and make this the brighter yellow because that is geometry that we will actually be rendering; everything else is utility. So let's go into OBJECT_01, see what we've got. We just have a file that we're reading in, we're transforming it up on the grid six units and then we're kicking it out. I'm gonna go into FRACTURE. I'm gonna delete out the default file node, and I am going to do an object merge. We're gonna click here, go to OBJECT_01, out, cool, so now we've brought that into this scene here.…
