Global animation options
- Now we're going to take a look at the global animation options window, and this is where we basically just set up the overall parameters of our scene, what our frame range is, what our frame rate is, and so on, and so forth. So you go all the way to the lower right corner of Houdini's interface. You see we've got a little box down here, looks almost like a cursor over it. I'll open that up, and there we go. These are our global animation options. By default, set to 24, for films, starting at one, ending at 240. And then there's a bunch of other different things to be able to control what we actually see on our time slider down here. So basically we can think of this as the preferences window for our scene for everything time related. We're going to leave everything at the defaults for right now. The main thing just to think about would be whether we want real time playback on or off. I've seen this option in other 3D packages as well, because let's say you're doing some animation…
