How to use forces to influence particle motion

- Now that we've created an object and a simple particle system that emits particles from that object, let's look at ways we can apply forces to control the particle motion. So I'm going to play this back. And we can see that particles are just flying out into space. I'm going to make sure my Select tool is enabled and then select those particles. And under the Particle tab, there's all sorts of different forces and all sorts of different things we can do. I'm gonna pick a pretty simple one just to start, which is just wind moving these particles. So with the particle selected, I click Wind. You notice it jumps us into this auto DOP network that is created for us for our particles and is out of this popwind1 node. As many things in Houdini, there can be a bunch of different names for things. We're in the dynamics world, and we're dealing with particles. And particles, historically, have been called POPs, or Particle Operators. And so we're using these POPs within a dynamics network…
