Introduction to the Animation Editor

- So Houdini has a pretty fantastic animation editor for manipulating and viewing animation data. You may know this as a curve or graph editor in other software. Houdini's is the Animation Editor. Let's peek in there and let's look at how to manipulate things. We're gonna get there by scrolling over to our little keyframe animation we set here in that x field of the translate. I'm gonna right click, go under Channels and Keyframes, and go to Scope Parameters. That's just Houdini's terminology for viewing parameters. You're scoping it. You can see also by shift middle mouse buttoning, you can also get there as well. We'll just open this up, and there we go. Here is our Curve Editor, which is our Animation Editor. Now I'm gonna scroll in and out on my scroll wheel on my mouse, and you can see that we're just changing the scaling view of our curve. Alternatively, if I alt right mouse click and move around, if I move up and down, we change the vertical scaling. If I move left and right…
