- Going way beyond the potential for manual keyframing, Houdini allows us to build procedural animation data generation networks that are really one of its strengths and a very special part of the program that allows for pretty interesting and intricate ways to animate objects or really quite anything. So, we're gonna look at a whole new layer of Houdini. This is the Motion Effects level, which is also traditionally known as CHOPS for channel operators. So, I'm gonna take our drop-down menu here over our network view, and I'm gonna change this to "ch". You can see over here, it says Motion Effects Networks, but here it says ch. Again because historically these are the channels, these are the CHOPS. But in the spirit of making things a little bit less arcane in terms of language, this stuff is called Motion Effects.
