Noise and filtering
- [Instructor] Two important nodes that I use all the time when building channel networks are the noise node and the filter node. So I'm going to show you how we use those. So I'm going to go inside our model here, I'm going to go inside this rotCHOP that we had built before we our three sine wave base channels that were driving the rotation of our object. Remember if I just press Play we can see that we've got this very straightforward sine wave rotation of our rings in our room. So now I'm going to go to my motion effects view where I can view the outputs of these channels and what I want to do now is I want to create different channels that aren't these nice curves but that are based on some random noise and these can be useful for both creating very chaotic effects but also maybe adding in just a smidgen of randomness to clean channels. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to hit Tab and make a noise, chop, okay and there we go. So now I'm going to unclick this out null here so…
