Nomenclature

- Houdini has a unique internal nomenclature that you need to become familiar with, and a lot of this is just short-hand and acronyms for different contexts of nodes. Now we're going to take a look at this drop-down menu here in our network view and you can see that these different areas here, CH for channel operators, image, MAT, OBJ, OUT, you can see there all these different bits of short-hand here and there's different sort of overall contexts in Houdini by default where different nodes can live, but we can also make networks of different kinds of nodes anywhere we want. Like, for example, here we are instead of making a render nodes in the output area here, which would actually just change the code the default output area of the entire project file-out. Let's go back to obj, let's say I want my own render operator area in here.
