- [Instructor] Now that we've cached our particles, now I'm going to show you how we can manipulate their color and alpha to get us towards rendering. So I'm going to scrub here, and you can see we've got our just black and white particles coming off our object, but I want this to look much more interesting. So, we're going to go into our particle result node. Here we have our particle sim with our cached particles. And now we're going to build a custom VOPSOP to use the black and white CD data that's on those particles to create a custom CD and alpha data based on ramps. This is a really great example to show how we can use a VOPSOP to create a custom tool that's really easy and that can help us re-map some information. So I'm going to right click After Particles Sim, and type Point, and get a point VOP and lay that down. I'm going to call this Cd_and_Alpha.
