- [Instructor] Now it's time for us to render our particles. So let's grab our particle result geometry node here. Let's go under its render tab, and you can see I've assigned a material that I've created in our materials node. And this is just a principled shader that I've modified only slightly, in that I'm allowing our color data on the particles to drive its emission channels. Let me go into materials, let's go down here. You can see I have those particles flat material, and I just have some parameter nodes here that are bringing in both the color data and the alpha data. The color gets multiplied by the alpha, it's going to surface and going into the emit color slot, basically just pre-melting the color by the alpha and driving the emission. We close that up and then we have the alpha just feeding into the opacity.
