- [Instructor] Alright, let's talk about the audit report and all the associated documentation. So, the audit report, when you write it, it will probably be dictated to you in what format you must write it, either from the organization's policies, or maybe there's kind of procedure that's written on how you write a report. It may be dictated to you because there's some kind of format you need to comply with for some regulation or law. Here is how we expect the results to be presented, et cetera et cetera. So, something is going to give you requirements on what the report must look like. Now, a report will typically include... First, a statement of purpose. Why are we doing this audit in the first place? This audit was to comply with this regulation or to test compliance with this law or standard. The objectives, here's what we expect out of this audit, here are the questions we expect answered, and here are the things that we want to test, to make sure that they're in place. And then…
