Integrated feature teams

- [Instructor] Along with kanban boards another aspect of working with mob teams is to create teams that are called integrated feature teams. So what is this? What does this look like? And how does it help communication? You can see in the illustration here, we have a cross-functional feature team and we have a number of people of each of the mobs. This would be representing two mobs. So the long bar's going across the feature teams. You can see that the first mob has one front-end person, one API person, two business logic people, and one database person. So that would be a mob of five people. Whereas the second team has two front-end specialists, one API person, two business logic people and one database person. Now I'm seeing this more and more as microservices architectures start to become prevalent, particularly in cloud-based architectures and very particularly in serverless cloud-based architectures.
