- [Instructor] The impact of effective communication in collaborative coding situations cannot be stated strongly enough. Here is another mob programming photo from the team at Hunter Industries in San Diego where I collaborated for over a year. It was a really interesting engagement. At Hunter Industries, initially there was one mob team and they were producing software at exponentially faster rate than the rest of the software teams. And so when I joined for the particular project I was on, the single mob team was being expanded to multiple mob teams. And after 14 months, they actually had it was between six and eight teams depending on what day of the week. So you can see here we have a mob that consists of four people working with the Hunter layout which you saw in a previous picture has the oversized monitors.
