Restarting the network

- [Instructor] Occasionally, the solution for networking issues is to restart the entire network. Because the network involves all the network hardware, and all of the devices connected to the network, this process can be quite extensive. To perform a full network restart, turn off everything connected to the network. The modem, the router, any switches or hubs, and all network devices. Power them all down. For a wired network, you don't need to unplug any network cables. For wireless devices, keep them on, but they will lose the Wi-Fi signal. Still, if you're having wireless networking issues, I'd power them down as well. Disable the Wi-Fi radio, or simply set them into airplane mode. Once everything is off, it's time to start the network again. Begin the process by starting the router.
