What is remote pair programming?

- [Instructor] Since we've more formally defined pair programming, let's do the same thing for remote pair programming. So we said pair programming is synchronous shared coding. Two people are building the same project, using one computer. How is it different if it's remote? In remote pairing, the pair is coding using one shared screen from two separate physical locations. So, as I was discussing in the previous set of movies, the importance of both considering and, when possible, pre installing before you start your first pairing session, in this case remote pairing session, the programming tools that you've decided that you're going to use, I find to be really really important. When you are working with remote collaborators you usually are having time differences as well. And I'll give you an example.
