[Instructor] In order to get the most value out of this course, it would be helpful if you had some familiarity with some type of coding or programming. Now, this doesn't need to be formal in terms of working on an OOP language such as C++ or Java. Your programming experience can be scoped to scripting, such as working with a scripting language like PowerShell or even Bash. You'll learn techniques in working with others in terms of creating your code or your script via the mob and peer programming practices. So if you have experience with scripting language, a programming language, or really application development in general. One of the interesting aspects of learning about collaborative coding is that you will see that not only formal developers can participate in these activities, but also other members of the team, people who work in devops roles or even product owner roles. That's what great about learning these practices. It really helps you to understand how to get the best from all of your team members.
