- [Presenter] Accuracy is extremely important when it comes to data. If we use inaccurate data as an input in our machine learning algorithms or AI solutions, as well as statistical models, our results are likely to be unreliable due to the bias that exists in the model. When data is unreliable, typically it will become unusable depending on what threshold be set for usability. Of course, in reality, we can never ensure a hundred percent accuracy. And this makes sense in part because it's not always possible to know the truth. For instance, many people will lie on their Facebook profiles. Now, if we were to collect information about potential COVID patients using Facebook profiles, the metadata that we collect from those websites would be inaccurate.
