Annotated surveys
- [Narrator] Okay, now we are going to annotate our mock-up for our survey. Remember we already have a very nice mock-up that gave to instructions to person programming the survey. Now, we are going to take that mock-up and add an annotation to it, to help the data analyst who will be using the data from the survey. In many companies, these are different people, or even different departments, but if you are in grad school all of these people are you. So, you are just helping yourself by doing documentation. So we are going to look at what I did for our annotations, but regardless of how you would choose to do it, you basically need to add the data field names from the data dictionary you just made, to where the survey questions are on the mock-up. I used text boxes, which you will see. Also you will be typing instructions to the analyst, and they need to stand out. I made mine stand out by putting them in red. You'll see how…
