CSSLP exam overview

- [Narrator] The CSSLP exam is administered by Pearson Vue, the testing organization who has exclusive rights to administer all ISC Squared exams. The test itself consists of 125 multiple-choice questions and you'll have up to three hours to complete the exam. Currently, the exam is only available in English. The exam includes questions from the following eight domains: secure software concepts, secure software requirements, secure software architecture and design, secure software implementation, secure software testing, secure software lifecycle management, secure software deployment, operations, and maintenance, and secure software supply chain. The number of questions from each domain is based on that domain's unique weight, which I'll cover later in this course. While the traditional test taking option is to schedule an in-person visit to a nearby Pearson Vue test center, they've been piloting an option for an online proctored exam. The exam code for the in-person exam is CSSLP and the exam code for the online proctored exam is CSSLP_OP. In order to pass the exam, you'll need to achieve a score of 700 out of a possible 1,000 points. That means you'll need to get at least 88 out of the 125 questions correct. That's definitely doable as long as you walk into the exam prepared. If you'd like a copy of the CSSLP exam outline from ISC Squared, you can download a copy of that outline from this URL.
