- My name is Louis Tremblay, I'm a senior system engineer and I work at FLIR systems. FLIR systems is most known for infrared cameras, so basically cameras that see heat instead of visible light, and in turn we use those cameras in all sorts of different applications. I work in a special group. We do research around AI, kind of a hot topic, and what we need to do to do AI is data. So I lead a small group of data scientists that work with me and I know a lot of what they do, and in turn, they're an integral part of the team. I was actually originally an electrical engineer, which is a kind of very different field, but it exposes you to a bunch of different things, and in turn, I found myself gravitating towards being the person that is at the center of all the action, and that's really a system engineer.
