(upbeat music) - [Lisa] Let's do a challenge. In this challenge, we're going to take a closer look at malware. You're going to research malware and answer the following questions: What is malware? What are the seven different types of malware? And I want you to list each type and provide a brief description. How is it transmitted? And what type of damage or outcome could occur? In addition, there are a couple of other examples of malware. Briefly discuss the following: hoax, or PUP. I've created an exercise file for you so you can follow along, and on it, there's a website that you can find more answers. I'm here at the Cisco website, where it discusses what is malware. And you'll scroll down and you can see how malware works, and the different types of malware.
